The characteristic feature of this series is a separate layer of corroded Corten steel that is mounted on the outside of the door leaf. It is made of a steel grade that is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions.
Under an actual layer of rust, Corten steel forms a dense layer of phosphates or sulfates. This barrier protects the surface from further corrosion. The layer of rust begins to form itself in the second week. The process may take up to 3 years. The color of rust is initially light brown, but it gets darker over time. It is important that the surface should dry out after wet periods. If the steel is exposed to permanent moisture the protective layer is not effective and Corten steel rusts just like normal steel. Depending on weather and environmental conditions, different rust colors are formed on the surface, even on identical parts of the material. This is not a defect, but an advantage, therefore, it does not entitle to complaints.
Note - the layer of rust that is firstly formed is not permanent and may therefore leave rust marks on adjacent building materials.

- Multipoint locking system 855GL : full locking in 7 points, - 2 hooks, - 4 bolts plus upper bolt
- Threshold strip 0.8" height;
- anti-burglary class lock insert with 5 keys.
The door is already mounted onto the frame (prehung door), which saves you all the work. The door is completely ready for installation.
